RuckMaxx: Rucking Tracker
Privacy Policy
Last updated August 27, 2026
The short version
RuckMaxx is local-first. Your rucks, GPS routes, body weight, ruck weight, and training plan are stored on your iPhone and are not uploaded to our servers. We do not sell data, we do not run third-party ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Data stored on your device
Session history (distance, pace, elapsed time, load, calories, and route points), your profile (body weight, ruck weight, goal, experience level, units, appearance preference), and your coach plan are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Location
RuckMaxx uses your device's location, with your permission, solely to measure distance, pace, elevation, and route during an active ruck session. Location data is processed and stored on your device only. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings; the app will still work for everything except live tracking.
Apple Health
With your permission, RuckMaxx writes completed rucks to Apple Health as workouts (including active energy and distance). We never read or transmit your Health data. You control this permission in the Health app.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchase receipts and manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous app-user identifier and purchase receipt data — never your name, email, workouts, or location. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous product-interaction events (for example, that a session was started) and a device identifier to understand feature usage and improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity and is never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Your choices
You can deny or revoke Location and Health permissions in iOS Settings, and delete all app data by deleting the app. For any privacy question or data request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
